• Glutaraldehyde solution 2% w/v U.S.P. (with powder activator)

This is used for Pharmaceutical industries, laboratory, medical sites primarily for disinfecting and sterilization of contaminated surfaces and equipment made of metal, porcelain glass, plastic, stainless steel, ceramic, latex, silicon, rubber and also for root canal and hand set instruments.

• Activate with powder activator provided.
• Pour all powder activator in the whole 5 litre solution. Shake well and as soon as the solution changes the colur to green, it is Ready To Use.
• Take out or pour in an instrument tray.
• MARK THE DATE OF ACTIVATION.
• Now, rinse off the adherent material (Blood, mucus etc) under running water from used instruments and drain thoroughly.
• Sink the dry and immerse instruments -scopes in prepared glutral disinfectant solution 2% in a soaking tray.
• Immersion Time :
  • Total Disinfection: 10mins – 15mins (HBV-30mins)
  • Total Sterilization: 10hours
  • Remove from prepared glutral disinfectant solution 2%
• Rinse thoroughly with sterile water and store at a dry place.

• The areas in use should have proper ventilation.
• Keep lids on the soaking trays at all times except when instruments are removed or added to the solution.
• Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water and seek medical assistance.
• Wear rubber gloves while cleaning and disinfecting medical devices.

• For optimum results, pre clean instruments with instrument cleanser after rinsing in running water.

RE-USE PERIOD or EXPIRY DATE OF SOLUTION : 14 DAYS AFTER DATE OF THE ACTIVATION
